From the Shop is the section of the Almanac where Mark Ulett writes in first person about something he learned that week from his own client work. Edition No. 2 ships without one for the same reason Edition No. 1 did. The whole point of the section is that it is honest and from the actual work; until Mark has filed the first one himself, the section runs as an editorial note.

The Forecast and the Planting Chart this week do most of the work that From the Shop would normally do: they tell a rural small business owner what happened and what to do about it. The Tide Table does the rest, laying out why the week's Google news is a structural shift rather than a tweak. When the first Shop entry arrives, it will sit alongside these other sections, not above them.
